Net scores from VoteLog's scored Israel/Palestine legislation, data as of . Methodology · Most pro-Israel records · All members
Every current member of Congress whose record on Israel and Palestine leans pro-Palestine is listed below, ranked within their chamber by VoteLog net score. The net score weighs scored roll-call votes, sponsorships, and cosponsorships (sponsoring a scored bill or authoring a scored amendment counts 3 points, cosponsoring 2, an aligned floor vote 1) and subtracts activity on the other side, so a higher number means a more consistently pro-Palestine record. Members with the same net score share a rank (marked =). 8 of 100 current senators and 59 of 439 current House members and delegates lean pro-Palestine; 91 senators and 372 House members lean pro-Israel (see the most pro-Israel records); 1 senator and 8 House members have a balanced record (net score 0) and are ranked on neither list. Former members are not ranked. Scores update with each data sync; see the methodology for how bills are classified and scored.

How the ranking works
Each member's net score is the sum of their pro-Palestine points minus their pro-Israel points. Points come only from legislation VoteLog has classified as taking a side on Israel/Palestine: 3 for sponsoring a scored bill or authoring a scored amendment, 2 for cosponsoring, 1 for an aligned roll-call vote. Procedural votes are read directionally (a vote to table a bill counts against it). Campaign money is tracked separately and never affects the score.
