Summary

Amends the Military Personnel and Civilian Employees' Claims Act of 1964 to increase from $15,000 to $25,000 the maximum amount that the Government may pay to settle a claim made by a member of the uniformed services or by an agency employee for loss of or damage to personal property incident to such individual's service. Authorizes the reconsideration of claims settled for the maximum amount of $15,000 before enactment of this Act.
