Privacy Policy

VoteLog (votelog.org) is an independent, reader-funded public-accountability tool. This page explains what information is collected when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have. In plain terms: VoteLog does not sell your data, does not run ads, and collects only what it needs to keep the site running and understand how it's used.

Most of the data on VoteLog is about elected officials, not about you: bills, votes, sponsorships, committee assignments, and campaign-finance figures come from public government records (Congress.gov, the FEC, and the US Census Bureau). That is public-record information about public figures, not personal information about site visitors.
